About us

Sara Berger Law provides comprehensive legal services to nonprofits of all sizes and at all stages of development. The firm focuses on nonprofit compliance and campaign finance law, advising clients on regulatory requirements and helping them navigate advocacy, lobbying, and political activity. We work with clients to protect their First Amendment rights when advocating for or against public policies, candidates, and ballot measures.

Our practice is supported by an in-house Practice Manager/Legal Analyst and, as needed, additional attorneys and legal professionals to ensure clients receive efficient and well-resourced representation.

Sara Berger has been practicing law for over two decades and holds a BS in Business, an MPH in Public Health, and a JD, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. She is licensed in Oregon and New Mexico. Sara represents clients on federal law matters, including those involving the IRS, FEC, and other federal regulatory agencies, regardless of the client’s location.
